(1) He was getting clonus in his quads which made him more and more unsteady.(2) Physical examination revealed left ankle clonus , positive Babinski sign on the left, and left lower extremity weakness.(3) Strictly speaking this is classed as clonus rather than tremor.(4) The patient should be tested for deep tendon reflexes and clonus .(5) the patient suffered partial seizures accompanied with clonus in the left arm(6) Medication is indicated when stiffness, spasms, or clonus interferes with function or sleep.(7) A two-year-old girl presented with a generalized seizure with tonic - clonic movements of all extremities.(8) All 15 patients had generalised rhythmic myoclonic u2018seizuresu2019 but eight had also had focal clonic episodes affecting various sites.(9) Occasionally, mild clonic seizures occur, but a seizure work-up is not indicated unless other signs point in this direction.(10) This is followed by alternating periods of muscle spasm and relaxation (the clonic phase) which usually lasts 1 to 3 minutes.(11) During the clonic phase, pulse and blood pressure increase substantially, resulting in an increase in rate pressure product.
